INCLUDED IN DAILY RATES:
- - full accomadation during hunt and all meals (including: Open bar)
- - services of a Professional Hunter
- - all transportation during hunt
- - field preparation of trophies
- - daily laundry service
- - transport to and from the airport (Port Elizabeth)
NOT INCLUDED IN DAILY RATES:
- - all travel and accommodation before and after safari
- - staff gratuity at clients discretion
- - shipping, freight charges and taxidermy costs
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
- A deposit of 50% of the daily rate to secure bookings, balance payable on termination of hunt. Only US$ travellers cheques or cash is accepted.
- All animals taken, wounded or lost will be payed for in full. Each hunter or observer will be expected to sign an indemnity form before commencing the safari.
- While Ballantyne Trophy Safaris takes every precaution to ensure the safety
of their clients, they cannot be held responsible for any injury, illness,
accidents or loss that may occur on safari. Clients are recommended to be
insured against any such events, and are required to sign an indemnity form.
TAXIDERMY
A reputable taxidermist has been doing work for Ballantyne Trophy Safaris for the last 15 years. We deliver the trophy to the taxidermist and they proceed to liase directly with the client.
SEASONS
The best time for a Safari in the Eastern Cape is from April to August. Our winters are mild, but it is neccessary to bring warm clothing. If the hunting is left any later the weather becomes very hot. Most of our species are lambing in early November.
